Director of Financial Planning

Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of all key areas of personal financial planning, including personal financial analysis, insurance planning, investments, tax planning, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. He or she will be responsible for all aspects of developing customized financial plans for clients; must understand the technicalities of various financial concepts and strategies; be familiar with the mathematical modeling and formulas associated with financial planning calculations; will be responsible for developing and mentoring staff. The Director will lead the financial planning department in recommending software improvements and changes across the whole range of personal financial planning issues, keeping up with trends and developments in this dynamic field.

The ideal candidates should have:

• 4-5 years of Manager or Director level experience.
• 5-10 years of financial planning experience for individuals/families.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to think analytically in a fast paced dynamic environment.
• A degree in business or finance.
• A desire to work with a team of dedicated experts where you will contribute to the successful development of cutting edge technology.
• CFP required CFA/CHFC/CLU/CPA/MSFP desirable
• MBA in finance or related field desirable

Financial Planning Specialist

He or she will be responsible for all aspects of developing customized financial plans for clients; must understand the technicalities of various financial concepts and strategies; be familiar with the mathematical modeling and formulas associated with financial planning calculations. The Specialist will assist the financial planning department in recommending software improvements and changes across the whole range of personal financial planning issues, as well as keeping up with trends and developments in this dynamic field.

The ideal candidates should have:

• 1-3 years of financial planning experience for individuals/families.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to think analytically in a fast paced dynamic environment.
• A degree in business or finance.
• A desire to work with a team of dedicated experts where you will contribute to the successful development of cutting edge technology.
• CFP/MBA desirable

Financial Advisor

Responsibilities will include assisting Senior Financial Advisor in all aspects of the business, including but not limited to: take charge of all assigned client relationships, actively seek to develop new relationships with potential clients and referral sources, assisting in financial planning process and building custom portfolios, taking client calls, processing new business and meeting with clients.

The ideal candidates should have:

• A degree in business or finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Excellent client relationship skills and high level of motivation
• High degree of technical and professional competence.
• Ability to think analytically in a fast paced dynamic environment.
• A desire to work with a team of dedicated experts where you will contribute to the successful development of cutting edge technology.
• NASD Series 7, 63 & 65 or 66 and PA life and health license preferred.
• CFP preferred
• CFA/MBA desirable

Retirement Plan Supervisor

HBK Sorce Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Supervisor. Ideal candidates will have a thorough knowledge of all key areas of qualified retirement plan design and service.  This position serves as a key intermediary and client service professional for all the firm’s retirement plan clients.  He or she will have responsibility for conducting enrollment meetings, one-on-one counseling with participants, annual education meetings, plan sponsor service and troubleshooting.  This person will also assist with the design and presentation of proposals for new client opportunities for the unit.

The ideal candidates should have:

•2-5 years of experience in the retirement plan market
•Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
•Ability to think analytically in a fast paced dynamic environment
•A degree in business or finance
•A desire to work with a team of dedicated experts where you will contribute to the successful development of cutting edge technology
•NASD Series 6 or 7 and PA life and health license
•Related professional designations such as QKA, CRPS, AIFA, CFP, etc. are helpful but not necessary for consideration
